I was overall very pleased with the decision to work with Mcclellands roofing. I had received 5 seperate estimates for the roof and they came right in the middle of the other estimates. I at first was interested in them because ironically we share the same last name (coincidentally not related). The estimates I received from other companies were totally predatory, coming in over double the price, and then were able to cut the price almost in half, which I didn’t respect. I knew instantly those companies were trying to take advantage of potential clients, and had very high pressure sales people. When Brooke came over to provide me an estimate, she gave me a price that was right in line with what I was expecting to spend, and provided me with the information to help allow me to make my decision, instead of trying to pressure me into a sale. As far as the actual work, I also was very pleased. Instead of doing 3 feet of ice and water shield (industry standard) , they did 6, and around all freeze points, which I was very happy with. I had a situation on my roof where a sloped section runs right into my chimney, which created a section that water would just pool. They ended up creating a kicker right there to remove that possibility of that water pool forming. This wasn’t previously discussed, but once they started the work, they recognized the potential issue and took action to address it, which I also highly respected. Vince was the project manager that I worked with and helped the project run as smoothly as possible, was attentive to all details, and easy to communicate with. I also was impressed with the workers, working together like a finely tuned machine, you could tell they knew what they were doing and had a good chemistry. Also leaving the job spotless once leaving is always a plus. I would/will highly recommend this company.

I had an excellent experience from estimate, to proposal, to schedluing, to execution. 5 star service from Rob and Rick who always had time for me and showed up with a plan. My new roof looks amazing and no corners were cut. In the process of selecting a company to replace my roof, I met with 5 different businesses that each offered comparable services. 4 of them had a few things in common. They wanted me to pay more than what my research showed fair market price was, they all had excuses for why my job wasnt typical, and none of them respected my time by overstaying appointments. McClellands Roofing did none of this. They showed up, on time, talked to me for 10mins about what I wanted, priced the job in 15mins, and I had a proposal later that evening. They support ACH payments which is very convinient and their deposit fees are reasonable. Couldn't have been a better experience.

We had an issue with some shingles being loose on our existing roof that had been installed years ago by a different contracting company and Jason Miller came during the heat of the holiday season and was very quick to assess the situation and provided a fix for us. He did a great job.

Great experience from start to finish. Very professional and the work crew was excellent, fast and respectful of my house and property. Brett walked us through the estimate never pressed us into a sale- no buy today and get $ off thing. Vince was the foreman and kept us updated on all parts of the job, answered all questions and did a final walk around. Both guys were available at all times. Lisa in the office was on it too. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with McClellands! We had some siding damage in high winds right before Thanksgiving this year that left some siding partially attached, and we wanted to get it fixed quickly to avoid any collateral damage from having it exposed to more wind. We reached out to a number of companies but McClellands was the only one that got back to us over the holiday weekend. Brooke was onsite the following Monday, promptly at the beginning of the window they gave us, to inspect and quote. She flew the drone all around the house and very quickly got all the information, but I was still impressed that they were able to turn around the full quote later that day. The following week Dan came to do the work. He was running a bit behind schedule because his partner was out sick that day, but he stayed at our house until almost sunset to get the job finished. We really appreciated his dedication to getting things done on schedule! Email communication was excellent throughout and the online system for signing contracts and paying the bill worked great. Very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

We highly recommend McClellands Roofing! From the first meeting with Rick, we felt confident. He gave a fair, detailed quote with no pressure. He provided us with roofing and siding samples and all the necessary information about them. Dustin, along with Anderson and his crew arrived on time, worked incredibly hard and fast, and respected our property, cleaning up daily. The crew worked in terrible Pittsburgh winter conditions, to include rain, wind, snow, and cold. They also stayed until dark every day. Dustin kept me in the loop during the entire process to include phone calls and text messages about the progress being made. We had a great experience with McClellands completing a roof replacement project. They went above and beyond helping us with inspection reports and communicating with our insurance company before work even began on the project. Our project manager, Vince, kept us updated throughout the day on the crew's progress and we especially appreciated his work keeping everything on track in the face of some unexpected findings. The crew worked quickly but diligently, completing the entire scope of work on time despite setbacks. McClellands was a pleasure to work with and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone for roofing projects.

McClellands was able to get us on the schedule quickly and complete the project before another winter was in full effect.
